The goal of the Springfield Rescue Mission since 1892 is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted and poor by introducing them to Christ and helping them apply the Word of God to every area of their lives. 
 
The Mission has a wooden collection box in the Church foyer where people may leave donations of food for the Rescue Mission, and other supplies as well. 
 
The Rescue Mission runs periodic campaigns for school supplies, undergarments, toiletries and personal care products. A list of needed items can be found on their website:

Items deposited in our collection box are delivered to the Rescue Mission on a regular basis.
